SofT Week 064: Deep & Vocal

SofT Week 064: Deep & Vocal

A night out builds intensity. When you first walk in and hear that music, you don't want your head leveled (at least not immediately). And you need to get those girlies shaking; start smooth and casual like. That's what we have here. Lounging music for you to sip your cocktail and chat to.

Super smooth deep and vocal by Soldiers of Twilight. What's crazy about this is it was released on Murder, Inc. I just can't get Ja Rule outta my head. Also, the bassline is a cop of 'Let's Lovedance Tonight' by Gary's Gang.

One of those deep rollers. You know the one's I'm talking about, where that fake synth single string note is held endlessly while the swingy hats loop and loop and loop.

A re-hash of the Marvin Gaye serenade 'Sexual Healing'. Firmly place an a-melodic minimal tech house track with a rolling bassline under this and you'll turn frowns upside down.

Had a lot of trouble deciding whether to post the main vocal mix or the dub. This one has a dub funk feel to it, an effective in-betweener.
